First time for Australian Horse to win American Champion Open Competition for Inhand Showhorse
Leambro Somelikeithot wins American Morgan Horse Open Competition Inhand Show Champion!
After nominating ‘Sammy’ for his Champion Title Award we also sent his results on further for the Open Competition. Much to our surprise he was awarded Champion in the Inhand Show Competition Category.
There are a number of different categories to enter, depending on your preferred discipline. There are 8 disciplines; Open Shows, Competitive Trail Riding & Driving, Endurance Trail Riding, Dressage, Carriage Driving & Combined Driving Events, Working Western and Eventing.
It is awarded once again based on the accumulation of points in any Open Competition Discipline. Our chosen discipline was all of Sammy’s Dilute Halter Classes for 2016/2017. Results must be provided from each competition by recording all details with the Judge’s signature to confirm the results. The horse with the most points is the winner.
Sammy had a score of 472 with second place on 165. All those times we ran back to the ring chasing the Judge for their autograph paid off….
