Membership in the following categories is offered for the year commencing

1st January – 31 December


Junior membership $25.00
Ordinary membership $66.00
Family membership $88.00
Stud membership $110.00
Corporate membership $325.00
Associate subscription $44.00



Membership subscriptions are due on 1st January each year.

Membership period is from 1st January- 31st December annually.

Payments can no longer be received through bank transfer or cheque for memberships.

Free Membership

Free membership is offered to any first time purchaser of a registered pure or part bred Morgan horse on transfer of registration for the remainder of the membership year.


Members of all levels receive the Morgan Messenger – a splendid newsletter of exceptionally high quality produced 6 times a year for members to share stories and their experiences with their Morgan horses.


Free advertising

Free advertising on the Sale and Lease page is available for those who pay Stud Membership.  Stud Members also receive a free listing on the Breeders Page.

Other benefits include:

  • The ability to participate in official shows and events, like National Ride a Morgan Day (NRAMD) and Australian National Morgan Show (ANMS)
  • Reduced Registry Fees
  • Full support from MHAA regarding breeding, showing and promoting the breed
